About our products

Consumer Health Care is one of Boehringer Ingelheim's core business units. While significantly smaller than our Prescription Medicine business, Consumer Health Care is a global business with sales in excess of €100 million ($AUD 1700 million).

Over the past few years much work has been done on our global brands, re-aligning their look so that no matter where you may be in the world, you can instantly recognise our brands. We are also vey well placed to maximise the switch potential of prescription medicines to over the counter status as their patent life comes to an end.
