In New Zealand, Boehringer Ingelheim's key areas of focus are innovative swine vaccines, mastitis products for cattle and pharmaceutical specialities. For example Metacam ®20 provides effective treatment of pain and inflammation in swine and cattle; whilst Metacam ® provides relief from pain and inflammation in cats and dogs. Mamyzin ® and Bivatop ® are used to treat infection in cattle; Enterisol ® Ileitis, Ingelvac ® CircoFLEX and Ingelvac ® MycoFLEX are used for the immunisation of pigs and Vetmedin ® is used to treat congestive heart failure in dogs.
