Market Access, Pricing and Outcomes Research (MAPOR):

While our Market Access, Pricing and Outcomes Research (MAPOR) team fulfil a broad range of functions, fundamentally their aim is to ensure our innovative pharmaceutical products are available to Australian patients via the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

To do this, our team work closely with our Medical, Marketing and Finance divisions as well as maintaining effective key relationships with Government Agencies and Medicines Australia, the industry association for research based companies. The team is active in pharmaceutical policy work.

The Medical Division at Boehringer Ingelheim plays a critical part in the drug development and registration process and supports the use of our medicines in the healthcare market. Our team consists of highly qualified professionals who work to develop our knowledge on the efficacy and safe use of our pharmaceutical products.

Encompassing a broad range of specialities, the Medical Division includes:

They are also responsible for ensuring products reach the Australian and New Zealand marketplace in a timely and cost-effective manner through a rigorous registration and reimbursement process.
